CSB Scientist B salary is under Pay Level-10 (7th CPC):

• Basic Pay: ₹56,100 per month
• Gross Salary: ₹75,000+ per month (approx.)
• Includes DA, HRA, TA, medical benefits, and other central government allowances.

• Maximum Age: 35 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:
  • SC/ST – 5 years
  • OBC (NCL) – 3 years
  • PwBD – up to 10–15 years
• Age is calculated as per the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.

Yes, GATE 2025 is mandatory.
Only candidates with a valid GATE 2025 score in Textile Engineering & Fibre Science are eligible. GATE scores from previous years are not accepted.

Candidates must have:

• B.E./B.Tech in Textile Technology / Textile Engineering / Fibre Science
• Degree from a recognized university
• A valid GATE 2025 score in Textile Engineering & Fibre Science (TF)

Final-year students are not eligible unless the degree is completed.
