Eligibility Criteria Of BoI Security Officer Recruitment 2025
Nationality:
Candidates must be:
- Citizens of India, or
- Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 1st January 1962, or
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specific East African countries.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (including relaxations)
- Candidates must be born between 01.1985 and 01.01.2000 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification:
- A graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- A certification in a computer course (minimum three months) OR Information Technology as a subject at graduation level or higher is mandatory.
Work Experience:
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
- Five years of commissioned service in the Army/Navy/Air Force.
- Police officers with a minimum rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) with five years of service.
- Assistant Commandant or equivalent rank in Paramilitary Forces with five years of service.
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen and certain other categories: 5 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
