- Scientist-B (Mechanical): Master’s Degree in Physics with one year practical experience in testing/calibration of engineering materials/products, OR Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering with two years’ practical experience.
- Associate Professor: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the relevant engineering discipline with First Class or equivalent, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the discipline. Minimum five years’ experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, with two years post-Ph.D. experience desirable.
- Civil Hydrographic Officer: Degree in Engineering (Civil, Computer Science, IT) or Master’s Degree (Mathematics, Geography, Geophysics, Computer Applications, Computer Science, IT) OR Pass in final examination of Institution of Surveyors (sub-division 1(B) Hydrographic surveying) prior to June 1, 2013. Two years’ experience in Nautical chart compilation and digital cartography.
- Data Processing Assistant: Master’s degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering/Science/Technology/IT[cite: 10].
