- Preliminary Exam (Objective type) – 500 marks:
- Paper I: General Studies & Engineering Aptitude – 200 marks, 2 hours
- Paper II: Engineering Discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication) – 300 marks, 3 hours
- Main Exam (Conventional type) – 600 marks:
- Paper I & II: Engineering Discipline, 300 marks each, 3 hours
- Personality Test / Interview – 200 marks
