Job Responsibilities

Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

• Provide administrative assistance in areas such as General, Finance & Accounts, and Stores & Purchase.
• Carry out typing and clerical tasks including maintaining records, handling files, and drafting correspondence.
• Utilize MS Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Junior Stenographer (JST)

• Offer secretarial and stenographic support to senior officials.
• Record dictations and transcribe documents with speed and accuracy.
• Manage schedules, files, and official communication.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the NAL Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification:

  • For Junior Secretariat Assistant positions, candidates must have passed 10+2/XII or its equivalent and possess proficiency in computer typing speed and usage as per the norms set by DoPT.
  • For the Junior Stenographer position, candidates must have passed 10+2/XII or its equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in stenography as per the norms set by DOPT.

• Age Limit:

  • The upper age limit for Junior Secretariat Assistant positions is 28 years.
  • The upper age limit for the Junior Stenographer position is 27 years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
